What are some places Bangladeshi citizens can visit in Turkey?
If you are planning to visit Turkey from Bangladesh, you can check our list of places given below to get a better idea about Turkey:
Mordoğan Beaches, Izmir
Several stretches of beach surround the settlement of Mordoğan, which is located on the Karaburun Peninsula's east coast.
The largest beach in town, Ardç Beach, is a huge stretch of free public land with golden sand and shingle.
The beach facilities include a café run by the local government as well as freshwater showers and restrooms. They also have public-use sunshades set up in various areas of the beach for anyone who wants to lay their towel down on the sand for free. They also rent out sun loungers and shades at very affordable rates.
Small children and inexperienced swimmers can easily access the area because the water is safe and shallow for a considerable distance out and the seabed is sandy.
The slender Kocakum Beach is located right in the middle of Mordoğan, to the north of the marina, and it runs along the waterfront promenade sector, which is bordered by palm trees.
The local government recently upgraded this beach, setting up spaces with sun loungers and umbrellas for rent as well as extra free umbrellas for public use. Just a short distance from the sand back on the promenade, there are several cafés and restaurants to choose from.
Alifendere Bay, a tiny cove with a short stretch of shingle and sand beach that curls around to stunning white rock cliffs, is located just south Mordoğan. It can be reached by a gravel road and is a popular location for wild campers and anyone else who enjoys a natural beach to pitch their tents.
The Grotto of the Seven Sleepers
The Ephesus ruins are about two kilometres away from a little cave network that has an intriguing local tale associated with it. According to legend, around the year 250 CE, Emperor Decius persecuted seven early Christians who he then imprisoned in this cave.
The Christians discovered the Roman world had converted to Christianity and that they could now live in peace in Ephesus two hundred years later. They were buried in this cave after passing away, and it later became a popular destination for pilgrims.
Only a few tombs can be found inside the cave, but just outside the entrance is a terrace where local women prepare traditional gözleme (flatbreads), which are perfect for a meal after seeing Ephesus.
Pamucak Beach, Izmir
One of the nicest wild beaches in the Izmir Province is Pamucak, a long, wide expanse of golden sand bordered by olive groves and scrubland.
The southernmost portion of the beach, which stretches for miles from the north to the mouth of the Küçük Menderes River, is where resort hotels and a beach café are situated.
Although you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas at the beach café, most people walk further north along the beach to find a more secluded area and set up their own beach chairs or just a blanket.
The beach becomes very crowded in the late afternoon and evening when the quad bike and horseback riding tours leave from Kuşadas. In any case, this is one of the best places to get away from the crowd on the Aegean Coast.
Exercise extra caution in the sea if you're travelling with young children or lack swimming confidence because the waves can be rather large here.
Pamucak, which is the most popular tourist site in the province, is situated in the southernmost section of the Izmir Area, 70 kilometres south of urban Izmir and nine kilometres west of Selçuk, which is home to the magnificent Ephesus ruins.
The Town of Tire
The farming town of Tire, located 40 kilometres north of Selçuk, is an excellent area to stroll if you want to experience Turkish country life. The community still has skilled felt artisans at work, continuing the town's illustrious legacy of felt-making.
On Tuesdays, you may also visit Tire's famed market, which is stocked with the delectable regional fare.
The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus in Bodrum is reminiscent of the burial mound on the route to Tire, which lies adjacent to the Tire turnoff, 15 kilometres northeast of Selçuk, close to the village of Belevi.
These ruins are likely to have been a part of ancient Bonita and are thought to have been around since the fourth century BCE. The Ephesus Museum has a display of the sarcophagus that was discovered in the mausoleum.
Altinkum Beach
Many people consider Altinkum Beach to be the nicest stretch of beach on the Esme Peninsula because of its laid-back atmosphere.
A little hill of coastal scrub surrounds the white sand, which laps the shallow, emerald-green ocean.
In addition to cafés, sun loungers, and shade places on the sand and on the grassy bank beyond, there are a few private beach clubs with entrance fees.
The remainder of the beach is open to everyone for free and has simple amenities like public restrooms. Bring a beach blanket to lay out on the sand, and pack a picnic lunch. You may also buy an inexpensive beach chair and some shade.
Swimmers should be warned that the water is significantly cooler here than at other beaches on the peninsula, even in the months of July and August, which, depending on your perspective, may be refreshing or a bit of a shock.
Altinkum Beach is located 95 kilometres west of Izmir and 9.5 kilometres from the centre of Çeşme Town on the south shore of the western tip of the Çeşme Peninsula.
Badembükü
One of the best beaches in the Izmir region, according to many knowledgeable locals, is on the northwest shore of the Karaburun Peninsula. The only way to get to the isolated beach known as Badembükü is by a meandering route through citrus fields.
Because of the location's distance from the main road, which keeps the great majority of beachgoers on the peninsula away, this is a lovely, uncrowded site even during the height of summer.
The broad beach with golden sand and shingles stretches for quite a ways down the shore, hugged by coastal hills.
The only café in the area is open from roughly May to September and provides services like bathrooms, freshwater showers, and the ability to rent sun loungers and shades.
The sea is almost always turbulent here because of the steady offshore breeze and significantly deeper water than at the beaches on the peninsula's eastern coast. Parents with young children and swimmers who lack confidence should stay near the beach.
Kekova Ruins, Kaş
The island of Kekova and the surrounding shoreline area rank among Kaş's most popular tourist destinations. A collection of submerged ruins off the island known as the sunken city is well-known.
The best way to explore is by kayak because it gives you the best view of the underwater ruins. There are several companies in Kaş that offer kayaking excursions to the ruins. As an alternative, many boat tours depart from and arrive in Kekova (by yacht or smaller boat).
A whole day of cruising the turquoise waters with stops for swimming and exploring island trails makes up this private sailing adventure in the Kekova region, which begins from Kas harbour. It is an extravagant and relaxing way to see the spectacular shoreline views. The lunch is paid for.
The more challenging group sea kayaking adventure provides the closest views of the submerged ruins of Kekova as you skim through the calm water, finding broken stone remnants below. The onshore Kaleköy Castle Ruins are also sites on these tours. In addition to lunch, the trip from Kas to Üçagiz, where the kayaks are launched, is given by land.
Üçağız Harbour
A yachtie's paradise is the lovely harbourfront village of Üçağız, which has a harbour. Along with private charters, the majority of the multi-night group yacht cruise tours departing from Fethiye (and a few lengthier yacht voyages departing from Bodrum) spend one night here.
If you've reserved a tour from Kaş that exclusively explores the Kekova region, the majority of operators will first travel by land to Üçağız (33 kilometres to the east of Kaş), where they will launch a boat or kayak from the harbour.
Ancient Teimiussa, which was governed by the Lycian king Pericles Limyra as early as the fourth century BC, once stood where the village now stands.
The village and its surroundings are littered with ruins, including a few artefacts on the acropolis, two cemeteries that house family tombs and sarcophagi belonging to residents of Myra and Kyaneai, and a sunken piece of the old walls offshore.
However, the real enjoyment is simply relaxing in the sun at one of the waterfront cafés and taking in the scenery.
