Dolmabahce Palace

Dolmabahce Palace is an iconic symbol of Ottoman Empire architecture located in Istanbul. The monument was built in 1856 and it reflects the Ottoman Empire’s architectural brilliance. The Dolmabahce palace is open from 9 AM – 6 PM and closed on Mondays. The palace has two entrances, the massive Imperial Gate used for ceremonies and the Gate of Treasury used by Sultans.  Selamlik, the feast hall, a luxury hall which is 40 meter high and the harem are the main attractions of the Dolmabahce Palace.

Mount Nemrut

Mount Nemrut is a historic site in Turkey’s Anatolia region. It is a significant place that is home to the ruins of the centuries-old Commagene Kingdom. Visiting Mount Nemrut travellers can explore the ruins such as giant heads and sculptures, whose history dates back to the 1st century B.C. All of the sculpture and tomb-sanctuary were built by King Antiochus I. Travellers can explore the nearby ruins and enjoy the sunrise or sunset from the mount. The archaeological site encompasses various statues, sculptures and rock tombs.
